Is there any way to find out, if your MB is actuall reading from the XP diode? any program, or something similar?

SET MBM to 1 second intervals, turn on WPCredit, and move the mouse around. You should see the diode temps fluctuate by a couple C doing things like dragging windows. You might also try blowing compressed air in the socket?

Or look at the temps while in your bios, although i don't know if the epox has that option. If not, unplug your keyboard and watch the temps on the POST screen.
