Default VPC-160 TEC controller on its way

Ok...I finally ordered the thing. I won't be able to test it out though until I get the rest of my water cooling setup purchased....which actually requires me to actually decide on components

Here's the link if anyone doesn't know what this is:

If it works as I anticipate, I will feel very good about the money I spent for it.

Sounds like a fun project actually.

Good luck with the PID loops!

Just got the unit in today.

All I can say for right now is Wow! the friggin thing is TINY!

About the size and thickness of small pack of cigarettes...maybe a little smaller even. I was planning on pulling the guts outa the thing and doing a custom install but it looks like there is a clear sealant along the edge of the top cover.

I still think I could get the thing apart but there wouldn't be any going back if I wanted to because the casing would be destroyed.

No chance to actually test it out yet either. Still accumulating parts for my rig...of which includes the missing TEC.

I'll post again when I can actually TEST the thing.
