motherboard question?
on p/c's main page, it has an article on replacing caps in a motherboard...
now ive seen in many peoples pictures, and in even my own experience... there are cap places that are simply not filled. physically by looking at the motherboard itself, you can see a marking for where a capacitor should go, however there isn't one. my original guess was that this was simply for manufacturers lowering production costs and using the same board for their normal, deluxe, and premium versions (such as the asus a8n) however, ive seen even the premium boards with these spots, and was wondering after reading the article...if one were to fill these spots, would they do anything to performance? overclocking? system stability? thanks. |

Re: motherboard question?
probably not, as there are other components missing,
resistors, voltage regulators, etc etc.
