Default Pelt psu question

I am looking for an affordable powersupply for a Swiftech MCW-462-UHT, it comes with a 226w peltier. How well would this be able to power it? http://becooling.safeshopper.com/26/159.htm?783

Swiftech recommends theirs: http://www.xtwerkz.com/SwiftechLiquidBlocks.htm
almost at the bottom.

The difference between the two is only 1A, so it should work just fine.

I can't tell the manufacturer, so can't comment on reliability...

The first one looks just fine. The second one is not made by Swiftech like it seems. It is a Meanwell power supply. They make great units. You should search for Meanwell and take a look and see if their prices are cheaper than Swiftech's or if they have other units. But i'm sure the first one is fine...

The manufacturer of the first one is Astec.

They have a very good reputation as a manufacturer of switching supplies.

Both PSUs will do the job just fine. I use an SEC1223 13.8V 23A PSU, and it was great for powering a 226W TEC. Too bad it doesn't fit in a drive bay . Anyway, here it is:
