Default Bit and tap sizes for 1/8" NPT?

I have a Koolance PSU that I'm looking to put new hose barbs on. 1/4" NPT holes are going to be next to impossible, so I got some 3/8" x 1/8" NPT barbs. What size drill bit do I need to use? What kind of tap do I need?

Default

1/8" 27 npt Tap is needed

I'd reccomend a 21/64" drill bit.
