Default OCZ Ram boost review (driverheaven)

http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/OCZDDRbooster/

Okay, I don't claim to be a power expert, but what exact is this doing. Stick it in a ram slot (drop one bank of dual channel ram on your good boards.) And use it to "correctly" bump up your ram voltages to 3.9 "safely and cleanly"

I'd love someone to explain this to my trollish brain cuz its sounds really ... gimmichy to me.

Little more than a small variable voltage switch-mode power supply. It's a brute force override of the mobo Vmem settings by injecting voltage at the DIMM sockets.

Clever concept, slick implementation.
