Hey,
Im guessing this question has been asked many times before but i cant find it plus i want to be sure. Whats the most effcient loop in a water cooling system? At the moment im guessing its: 1.Pump 2.cpu 3.gpu 4.radiator 5.reservoir/t bleed connector 6.back to pump am i wrong as usual? ![]() Also a second question can anyone recommend a way of cutting tygon without leaving a tear or a crushed end? Something that will give a clean cut thanks for any advice ![]() |

you want to avoid 90deg bends if possible... so as for order it doesn't matter much.. as for cutting the tubing all i use is an exacto knife.. nothing fancy.. it doesn't give me perfect cuts.. but good enough for me...

ok cool
![]() 1.pump over to 2.gpu up to 3.cpu up to 4.radiator over to 5.reserviour down to 6.pump last question. The placement of the reserviour so air bubbles catch in it so you can bleed them. For this to work do you just need the reserviour above the water blocks or does it have to be above the radiator as well. My setup has the radiator at the same hieght as the reserviour. Will i have problems bleeding it |

I use something that looks like a cross between a pair of scissors and a pair of pliers. The Jaw that cuts is actually a razor blade. Some techs call it hose cutters. It gives a perfect cut everytime and I use it on Radiator hoses. Tygon isn't very thick, so you can make do with an exacto knife or ever a good pair of scissors.

rethought the loop and just wondering is there anything wrong with this:
1.pump up to 2.reserviour over to 3.radiator down to 4.cpu down to 5.gpu then back over to 6.pump If i did it this way then the cpu would get the cold water first since its more of a concern than the gfx card. any problems with it? will the hot water comnig from the cpu and gfx card affect the pumps effciency? any advice would be great thanks ![]() |

the difrence in temperature of the watter in a running system between any part or parts will be negligable. .5 deg or so... you will have you pump pumping into your resevoir? i could be wrong but a pup pushes water better then pulls it..

It is a good idea to have the water go from the resevior to the pump. I killed 2 via aquas within 3 months because I pumped into the res and got a ton of cavitation in return.
