Case Temps
Anyone test how much case temps factor into cpu load temps with the maze2? My system temp reads 32C/89F but my room temp is 78F. I'm thinking about putting a quiet 120mm in front and a 92mm in back and maybe a slot cooler under my vid card which makes everything hot. I found some cheap fans on pricewatch, enermax and top motor, anyone have any experience with them? I'll prob end up getting some sunons though.

Just ordered some artic silver 2 at highspeedpc with free shipping. Hope it drops my temp some degrees, I'm using the packet that came with the blue orb paste right now. Hope that was my problem so I don't have to spend 30 bucks on fans. Anyone have any data with artic silver used on waterblocks?

Generally people use Panaflos for quiet cooling. Just remember though, there really aren't quiet fans, just low flow fans.
Personally I recommend www.teamawe.com He's a great guy and I've never heard anything bad about him. Way back in the day he organized a fan deal on ArsTechnica and got us all fans for $3 a pop. I've been going to him ever since. |
