Default Alphacool blocks and 3/8 ID loop

Hi,

Can I use an Alphacool waterblock with a 3/8" ID loop?

Their hoses and fittings are all in metrics, and after all this exposure to the imperial measurements when dabbing with water cooling I'm not so sure anymore...

YEs, the current generation of blocks are G1/4 thread (1/4 BSPP Parallel) and you souldn't have any trouble finding barbs on that thread as BSP thread seem to be available in Aus.

That's the (female) thread on the mounting holes in the waterblock. G1/4=1/4BSPP which is "British Standard Pipe Parallel Thread 1/4inch nominal size".

To use it with 3/8"ID hose and barbs you need 3/8" barbs with the same 1/4 BSPP thread.
