What are the minimum coolant temperatures for the MCP series?

....This would be a really good time to have Bill available....
A pumps minimum operating temperature varies depending on its build. If you see anything made of ceramics inside the pump that is when you need to be concerned. Plastics and aluminum are good to temperatures below any setup a typical hobbyist could produce. Ceramics can become brittle at low temperatures making them susceptible to cracks. ...So far I haven't given you much help, but.... You'll notice that swiftech has used the MCP pumps in their liquid chiller kits in the past. Hunt around for a review of swiftechs chiller. I remember seeing two. The pump was able to handle coolant temps hovering around zero. |

Eheim works fine at -45°C in some chillers here, ceramic no problem and plastic no problem too. It will be the same for MCP, fab is quite similar...
