Know of anything for my PC to moderate audio dynamics -my nVidia or Creative drivers don't appear to have the desired feature.
There is a night mode that limits dynamics but does not boost soft signals to my desired preset -I am constantly reaching for the volume knob (also a little hard-of-hearing). I have a lot of audio power available...it can get out of hand -even startling and damaging to equipment. A PC will soon be in my home theater where this feature will be more desirible -loud commercials, etc. Remember Magnavox's "smart" sound control?

Dunno, but many media players and stuff now have auto volume leveling that keeps all the output below a certain level. I know itunes has it, and I'm pretty sure windows media has it.
