what pump/pumps are avail to buy these days?

Been gone for a while. Are there any good shielded pumps out there?
any small inline pumps like are used in honda gas tanks?

I used a ehiem 1250 but Had monitor issues.

are DC better than AC pumps? EMI? performance? noise?

DC has less EMI,
you can connect them to a PWM or Rheo controller,
connects directly to a molex,
usually better than most currently available AC pumps,

check the D4/5,
or Laing DDC.
