Fitting water system together
I've been building high end systems for many years but never ventured into liquid cooling until now. Air is just not doing the job anymore. I was looking at kits but they are badly put together and not all of the components are worth the money. I want to make something custom. I know what parts I want but not how to put it together.
The pump. Does it matter what pump you use? I'm thinking of going with a typical eheim pump with around 300l/h output. A typical 1046 from a pet store has just as much output from what I have noticed.
For cpu block I'm looking at the Innovatek XX-Flow Rev 2.0. This has some great reviews and from what I've heard innovatek is supposed to be the best. This is for an AMD 64 X2.
I'm not sure on a GPU block yet. Does anyone know if GeForce 6800 is compatible with 6600? I have a 6600GT PCI-E.
I'm thinking of using a dual 120mm forced air radiator.
Now my biggest problem is I don't have a clue how to put this all together. I know you need extension and compression fittings but other than that I don't know for what and how. I can't find any articles that talk about how to connect everything.
