Default Radeon 64DDR VIVO problem

Heres my situation:

I got a Radeon 64 DDR video card yesterday. I installed it and ran 3dMark2001 and Unreal Tournament with the card. I got a 3600 on 3dmark the first try. In unreal I was getting 100FPS. Now I am either getting 30FPS or the game just locks up. 3dMark locks up by time I get to the lobby scene, about half way through. I tried reinstalling the card and drivers and everything but still wont work. I haven't tried any other games yet but I still shouldn't be getting 30 FPS or lock ups witht a Radeon. The card worked fine at first but now Im having problems. What do you guys suggest I do?

Please help me

Sorry if that response was no help to you, but I just couldn't resist.

Anyway..

Have you tried installing updated drivers from ATI? (ATI... new drivers? *snicker*) Sorry... If you're already using new drivers, possibly even an older version?

Also, if that doesnt work... what motherboard/chipset do you have the card hooked up to? I might have some suggestions depending on the rest of your system.

Yeah, post your chipset, CPU, mobo etc. Are you overclocking CPU or the Radeon? Is your case particularly hot? I personally think that one of the stupidest things in computer design today is that AGP cards face into the bottom of your computer!!! How silly is that?? Esp when most of them have biga** HSF's on them these days...

If you want the latest drivers, or more helpful help I can recommend the forums on www.rage3d.com They are a friendly bunch of ATi product owners... and generally fairly good at solving problems (most ppl there have had more than a few)

And Fool, ATi's drivers are sooooooo much better than when the Radeon was released!! I think that soon ATi owners will be laughing at everyone with Geforce's etc... j/k
