ProCooling is currently starting an open invitation to folks who want to join the team. This is no normal or ordinary deal, but a detailed application process.
We are looking for some top notch writers, and people who are technically superior to the normal Joe ( hmm well no offense to the Joes out there). ProCooling has some nice benefits to offer team members, and if you WANT to write, and want to help out, I am sure you will be VERY happy here ![]() Here is a link to the Info and Application. http://www.procooling.com/html/join_the_team.shtml

Good stuff, Joe. Let me second his motion. Guys (and girls), I've been writing and moderating for ProCooling for a long while now. I have seen the site go through two major changes and sprout from a small hobby site to a large, respected mecha for cooling freaks.
If you think you may have something to offer, send in an app. Writing for ProCooling has been an extremely rewarding experience for me, and I can only assume that it will be just as rewarding for all other future staff members. -Kevin

honestly, I'd like to contribute, but being rather inexperienced with anything past building a computer, ( I had to have OC Punk help me set up my watercooling via AIM (( THANKS OC! )) ) I dont know how I could help, I am a webmaster, and I can do some pretty snazzy design, atleast in my experience people have commented it, but still, if you guys can find a use for me, I'll fill out an app
heh ![]()

I would apply, the smaple writing is the most critical part of the application.
age, experience, gear is all of little concern. Cause even while you may be a Noob you can actually offer new views on stuff that you may not have worked with before. and who better to write articles about getting started in watercooling than someone whos just gotten started?

I too would love to write for you Joe, just with the economy being what it is and given my current living situation I don't have much more than a shoe string budget to work with. I would deffiniatly be interested in writing reviews of cooling gear and projects, just $$ is a big issue. Oh well, I will be getting an Ehiem 1048 or 1250 soon, maybe I'll do a write up of it vs. the Danner model 5.

Don't worry about budget or money situations. I am unemp'd also and I know damn well how much of a PITA it can be.
Still Apply, write something up, and we will go from there! Also for the couple who have applied with no writing sample.... those applications are ignored.

I'd like to help out. Is there a time limit or is this an open ended invitation?
I was planning a big over-haul on my cirrent system using 300+ PSI compression fittings and copper tubing all around, but that has to wait until my current non-cooling related project is finished (a flamethrower actually ![]() Will you still be interested in a month? |

Guys,
Joe isn't necessarily looking for a project to be completed and submitted. In the app, he wants to basically get to know you and check out your writing style. Just review a piece of hardware in your system or something like that. The important part is the grammar, the style, how well it flows, etc. Once he says you're a go, then you can start doing big projects. The app is mainly preliminary stuff though. So if you have a project in a month, send in a writing sample/app now. If you make it, then you can do the project ![]() -Kev

From talking to Joe in the chat room, the idea I got was that this isnt really to see review skill as much as writing style. So it doesnt really matter what you review, as long as your piece demonstrates your writing style. |

I know my opinion doesn't matter but if you don't have time to run a roll of film to a 1 hour photo place then I don't think you would be able to write very many good reviews or articles. Again jsut my opinion and as most ppl know it doesn't matter so..
