How to pull floppy out of drive?

A floppy is jammed into the floppy drive.

When I push the button it tries to eject but it's utterly stuck. Should I grab the screwdriver or not? This is the ONLY copy of the data(better to lose this than to have somebody elese find it)...

Please advise...

With the eject button pressed insert a small flat bladed screwdriver or equiv just underneath the floppy & apply a small amount of upwards pressure. Floppy should pop out.
