Default maze 2 cooling cube .... temps too high?

ok guys i'm using the maze 2 copper block , ccooling cube, inwin q500 case , radiator is on top of the psu ..... 120 panaflo L1 69cfm sucking off of it... i tried adding another one to it .... absoultely no change in temps.. i'm using a mag drive 1.5 140gph is that my problem... it idles at 38c and full load 48c .... seems high... i am at 1479 @ 1.85v 100% stable... the pump is submersed in the reservoir i'm using water wetter and 3/8 id tubing.... will geting a 300 gph pump give me temps in the low 40's ?? something seems off......... as for fans i have an 80mm exaust 92 mm intake... 2 blow holes bottom one intake top one exaust.. thanks

38/48 really isn't that high, but you may be able to go a bit lower. Your pump may be adding 1 to 2 degrees to the overall temp... not the gph though. The fact that it is submersible instead of inline. Everything else seems about right though. You may want to add a higher CFM fan. Adding two of the same fan doesn't do a whole lot from what i've played with, but a single higher powered fan might be useful.
Either that or i'm just talkin' outa my asss.....

I think it is your pump. The DD Cube has so many 90º and 180º turns that it seriously cuts the flow rate of your coolant. I've heard people with the Mag2 pump complaining that they don't think they're getting enough flow. Try stepping up to a Mag3 and see if it doesn't improve your temps.
