Hey all,
I really want to cut back the noise my box makes and right now the loudest fan is my powersupply fan. I know Koolance has done this to keep the noise of their systems down and I thought it was a good idea. Right now my H2O setup is a Aquastealth II and it's fine for my needs. What would be involved in cooling a powersupply? Just some copper tubing on the heatsink? Do I just cut the fan wires and leave them alone? Help.... Thanks in advance for any suggestions and/or help. |

Hrmm, although this is possible, I don't feel it would be worth your effort and money. I can guarantee you that if you replace the fan in your power supply with a Panaflo, you will cut the sound db in half. Check to see what size the fan is in your power supply and go to www.caseetc.com and get one of the L1A panaflo's of the same size and you will fix that noise problem instantly.
