I was at the Orlando XP2000+ giveaway on monday...

I had ticket number 23151 and number 23152 GOT CALLED!!!!

I've been having HD trouble since before christmas

plus I'm working full time in a mom and pop computer shop, and the g/f has been working full time too. Just no time anymore!

I'll come in tonight after I get my new HD all setup and OS installed. I'ts 8pm and I'm still putting systems together!

Yeah just bring a laptop scanner and photoprinter get some power inverters for your car and off u go your own ticket printing station

Mostly because they were kinda calling like "2.... 3.... 1..... 5.... 2!" So I was getting hyped and then when they said 2 I was "MOTHER ****ER" all loud....

I know where you got that idea from brad. Simple OcP and I did it! WE yelled intel rox and P4s rock when we lost. So did like 90% of the crowd.

Philadelphia back in the day when they were still giving away the 1800+s. Which were the top of the line then. Oh man what a long time ago. YEah OcPunK, myself, and Dijinn(he had a friend and his wife there) were all there trying to win and none of us did BITCHS!

Heh, it was about 40F when I went, standing in this cold dark parking lot. There were only about 250-300+ people there, so we had decent chances. About 5-6 people right around me won. IT was pretty decent, reminded me of the old one day truck shows, only in those I won every time

they should just do one page advertisements, everyone who gets to some place before whatever time gets a free athlon

AMD just plain needs to advertise. The largest advertising they have done in recent times has been ads in computer magazines for ppl who already know about them and a truck rolling around giving free stuff away but no one that isn't planning to be there has any idea what the hell is going on. They need to advertise like Intel then they could do something and maybe get some OEMs working with them. Some big name ones anyway.

there was one tv commercial I only saw two times back when the AThlon SLot A came out. That was it in the way of public ads.

Yep, I think they need to do more general public advertising. However I like that they get down and dirty with the hardcore people.
