Default Oh NO!!

Guys,

Take a look at this CPU waterblock and tell me that this is not for an AMD system. I think I ordered the wrong damn one! The plastice bolts don't come anywhere close to matching my motherboard. Since I most likely have to reorder, should I stick with DD Maze2? I see all these posts about Fixitt and his block yet no on knows when they will ship.

Any suggestions?

Danger Den's maze uses holes through the block. I made a block that looks exactly like Danger Dens but it is my own!!!

Outside look close to the same as DDmaze2

But the inside is totally different:

I got it from Danger Den's website. Now this really sucks since I wanted to get this going this weekend. So much for a good thing! Can you guys recommend a better block or just order the correct one?

From what I can tell, it's a standard Maze2-1 without the holes drilled and uses a hold down bracket which is larger than the holes on an AMD motherboard.

You can drill the holes and come up with the rest of the mounting hardware.

So in theory, I can use this http://www.shacknews.com/extras/e_hlcheating/ and drill straight down! Hmmm.. should I risk distroying it or just get a RMA and get the correct one?

But since this is my chance, should I go for a different waterblock?

Thats how I drill the holes in my blocks. Just make sure they are in the right spot. Pretty hard to mess up unless you use a hand drill and don't get a strait hole.

Up to you, you will probably have to pay shipping ect...
