quick question scorpion:

I got a kit from www.pcmods.com . When I installed it i used a 12v lighted rocker switch from the shack. When i flipped the switch on the light from the rocker came on, but the cold cathode just sat there... I know it worked before cause i hooked it up with the switch it came with. I investigated a little and found that i reversed the power and ground going to my rocker switch.

My questions: Is the inverter on a cold cathode kit sensitive to a polarity change? Did I mess up the inverter? If so is the bulb alright still?

Default Knowledge

well it sounds like you did everything right....no they are not sensitive to polarity...But here is the thing, i really am not too familiar with pcmods bulbs, i know mine inside and out, have you tried to put on the old switch, if so and it still does not work, then yes you have something that went bad for sure...
