Default Heater core and fan plasment

I'm planning to place the heater core and the fan like this (picture attached), and shroud it in by adding some straight epoxy walls.

Does anybody know how muche less cooling capacity I get by doing so versus placing the fan right in front off the radiator (using an shroud to get the right size)??

Sems like the picture is too big

I have placed the heater core in the front, and placed the fan onto the the mid towers plates, and i'm going to place a shroud, so the air comms from the heater core.

should work fine, just remember to run the fan about 1.5" away from the shroud

Don't you mean rad not shroud Brad? The shroud should extend from the rad to the fan with no gaps.

yeah, the shroud should keep the fan 1.5" or more away from the radiator
