I've had enough of blackened molex power connectors because the connectors are too small/thin. Very soon, the conectors are gonna burn through the molex plastic. And that makes the pelts wires burn hotter too. I'm not gonna wait for that to happen
![]() Any recommendations of a good and secure way of connecting the power cables to the pelts? The screw-in connectors? Or anything that won't become charcoal black after some usage? Preferably one that I do not have to remove the pelt from my block. |

I used heavy duty five way binding posts and spade lugs.

Yep, you just tighten the binding post nut on the spade lug. Dissconnecting is the opposite, just like the terminals on a quality HiFi amp.

I use little grey wire nuts. This seems to work well, and insures a good solid connection.
