How do you deal with the memory when you buy it a home depot? Mine is bent all over and it is making it very tough to hook up!

I just try to use the memory in the way I want it to actually bend, and just muscle it into shape

String it across your room and take a hair dryer to it. Thats what I'm doing and it seem to be working so far.

I agree with Brad.
I got the last few feet from the spool and it did NOT want to strech out correctly. But after a few minutes of "muscling" it into position, it stayed relatively straight. Then after putting water though it 24/7 it now wants to bend only to its current position ![]()

Hair Dryer = good...
Heat gun = better... Torch = ok... just don't burn it. Just heat it up, and it'll lose the memory... or heat it up, then bend it to the shape you want, and dunk it in ice water... it works fairly well.

If you don't have any of the equipment above.
During the warmest part of the day lay it outside on the sidewalk or asphalt for 30 minutes. It will become limber enough to work with. fresno12 |
