Default Ordered Maze2, sending me Maze3?

I just placed my order with DangerDen for most of my watercooling stuff. Unfortunately, I was having some trouble putting through my order online, so I contacted DD and they put my order through. I just got my E-Mail conformation and instead of (2) Maze 2's (I am building a dually) they are sending me Maze 3's.

Really, the only reason that I wanted to go with the maze 2's instead of the 3's is the clear top.. Although the Maze3's are purty, this is going to be my first Watercooled setup and I am doing everything I possibly can to prevent any leaks. Should I be worried that the clear top might crack or spring a leak and be better off with correcting the order to get the Maze2's, or is the Maze 3 better with cooling and worth getting over the Maze2's and just not worrying about it cracking?

Aesthetically, I would prefer the Maze3's, but would I be better off with the Maze2's??

everybody is worried about leaks.. mostly anyone new to water cooling... but howhen is the last time you heard someone having a leak?

sure leaks happen.. but its usually cause you are moving blocks/rads/pumps around while its filled. or not using clamps.

hell i have NEVER used clamps on my silicone tubing... and i havent had a leak since

as for the block... just leak test it... if you wanna be extra safe, replace the brass barbs with some type of plastic barb... then it will be INCREDIBLY hard to get a crack in the top.

The Maze 3 is also tested to 80psi before shipping...

if you ever reach 80psi in your rig, then you have a pump that has a head of approx 184 ft (average users here is 10 to 20 ft). You can pressure wash your car with that...

Ok, well, it seems that I probably shouldn't worry about it cracking or leaking, so then does it cool as well as the Maze2? better or worse? I'm sure this has probably been discussed to death, so I'll go search around to see what results I can find.

Oh, and I am hoping to be able to take this beast to LAN parties about once a month, so should I worry about cracks developing while it's in transit? It's going to be a closed loop system, and I don't PLAN on being in any accidents or bumpy roads...

If the clear top of the Maze-3 has cracked while in transit I think you have worse problems

the maze3 does perform better. the only reason to use a maze2 would be if you want to run dual pelts (which you don't want to do)

Would it be worth it to sell my Maze 2 for a Maze 3? I can get $40 oughta my maze 2 right now.

I've been using the maze 3 for about a month now and I love it. No leaks and the clear top looks awsome.

Hmm... I know you're supposed to test out the system for 48 hours (or so) to make sure it's not leaking. But then by your post, how would one install watercooling? By undoing everything - install - re-connect, you'd be at square one again, right?

no, you transfer directly to your case OR you leak test the system with it installed in the case (instead of MoBo, use a piece of cardboard to mount the blocks on or something...)
