Default Looking for a specific part...

Non-metallic (nylon, PVDF, etc) 45deg hose barb fitting

1/4 NPT Male => 1/2 barb (3/8 is okay, but preferably 1/2)

You know the 45deg brass barbs on DDen's Geforce block? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, except in nylon or otherwise. I've looked on both Mcmaster and usplastic. Neither have it. Anyone know of a place that sells these? Anyone have any they're willing to sell to me?

Thing is I want to use it on my pump outlet, but brass is so hard it might do damage

If you don't find any at savko.com (whenever it's up), consider making something from copper.

Humm.... I just used brass ones with teflon tape. You could try looking at the biggest hardware store you can find. Most of them carry plastic fittings. Im not sure if they have 45's though

Got mine off McMaster, though you'll have to order it in two pieces. First get a 1/4NPT brass 45 degree elbow and then get a brass 1/4NPT 1/2 barb. Costs about 5 dollars for two sets.

Be warned though, those 45 brass elbows KILL flow so absolutly drill it a little wider. As for why they make them so needlessly restrictive, I have no idea, but it takes about 5 min and a drill to fix

Why 45degs? I've seen half a million of these at Ace Hardwarez in 90degs ... nylon and PVC.

Take a 90 degree nylon fitting, heat it up with a heat gun, and bend it.
