Default How noisy is your watercooled rig?

I'm looking into grabbing one of a couple integrated case/watercooling setups....

Intercooler: http://dtekcustoms.safeshopper.com/4/30.htm?410

Tall Cool One: http://www.overclock-watercool.com/

Cool Tower Pro: http://www.waterchill.com

Basically, I would like to know if anyone can tell me how loud their rig is compared to a traditional aircooled case(delta fan on cpu, 120mm on side panel, 80mm on rear, possibly 80mm on front)

I don't want to watercool if my box is gonna be just as loud as it is now...

I can't comment cause my rig is so quiet that the harddrive is louder then the powersupply fans and the southbridge and CPU fan combined It is so quiet that I have to strain to hear if it actually shut down when I click on to shutdown the system. But I once had a 120mm YS Tech fan on a BlackIce rad and it was really noisy, but then again, I was running a peltier at that time.

Panaflo at 1/2 speed on my radiator, and I honestly can't hear anything over the *roar* of my hard drive at idle

If you do it right, its virtually silent.

My rig has 4 fans in it. 2 in the powersupplies, one on the chipset and then the Panaflow on the Black Ice rad. It is much quieter then my old box that had 2 80 mm in the side, a blowhole and a quiet fan on the cpu. If you want to go really quiet, talk to bladerunner.

My system has a 120mm fan on each end of my DD cube both running at 12v, a 92mm and 80mm case fan running at full 12v, and is Much less irritating than my air cooled system w/delta fan.

the larger fans sound more like ocean waves than a jet liners engine(delta 38cfm)

Thanks dantheman, and here's the link Cablepro to my project.

Stealth Cooling

I did have just one fan until I traded the water-cooled GF3....... but that's another story

Once you've tasted total system silence nothing else will do...... so I'm working towards acheiving it without cheating

These pneumatics fittings I have were supplied from here:-

http://www.parkerhydraulics.co.uk

Handy for me as I live near Norwich Some are from the Flowtech range and some from the Festo range. Sizes vary depending on what they are for.

It's worth pointing out that these fittings are designed to be used with the more rigid nylon/polyester pipe, not the more flexible plastic tubing, and as such more care has to be taken when using it in the PC, so as not to damage anything.
