SOLD
This is the big daddy of all Eheim pumps... 600 GPH. Also a very quiet pump... much quieter than my impotent Via Aqua 1300. So if you're pathetic pump needs enlarging, this pump is for you. Some things you should know: The pump has minor cosmetic damage: a small crack in the exterior housing. It runs flawlessly however inline OR submerged (tested in both). But remember, SIZE DOES MATTER, not appearance in this case. Inlet is 1" and outlet is 3/4" but these adapters can be swapped out for smaller ones if needed. Runs on your standard 115V AC. I will have pics up soon, for now, you can find more info on this page. Retail Price: ~$120.00 I'm asking $60 SHIPPED. I can take Paypal or a Postal Money Order. I have sold on these forums before, so if those people would like to chip in some feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it. edit: Here are the pics I promised. Look at that sexy bastard! ![]() ![]() The small crack: ![]() Kitten approved: ![]() If you are interested, just PM me. Last edited by koslov; 11-23-2002 at 01:49 PM. |

So very, very tempting . . .
$60 is a hell of a price, but it's well over what I need for my next project. . . . dang. Alchemy |

DarkEdge, according to the Eheim page, the 1060 consumes only 50 watts. How much of this is converted to heat and put into the water is probably only a small amount, since about 50% is converted into mechanical energy, while much of the remaining 50% is dissipated as heat to the air through the pump housing. My guess is ~10-15 watts is actually put into the water, maybe less.
By the way, hope you all picked up on those penis envy allusions. Marketers use it all the time for cars, trucks, and TVs, so I thought it would be funny to use it here. ![]() |

Come on now, no takers? I'd hate to have to resort to donning my biohaz suit and diving into the shit that is [h] just to sell this thing.
How 'bout if your even mildly interested, you PM me so I can know to hold off on posting it elsewhere. As of now, it is a Pro/Exclusive. |

I will be interested if the place where I bought my Sedra from will not replace it. Will get back to you as soon as I know.
Do the Eheims suffer from cavitation if there is a lot of flow restriction??? Especially on this model????

Sorry, I just shipped it yesterday to it's new owner. Next time don't be so slow in making an offer! I went a week or so without anything.
