well my mag5 seems to be a bit too powerful for my system w/ a maze1 and dangerden which has pretty good flow restriction in itself - which actually might be part of my problem but anyways the mag5 would probalby be the biggest you'd want.

i've just ordered a eheim 1250 (~320gph) which i'll be using for my spir@l and dtek rad in a few days

hey
i had a eheim 1250 but i sold it .. long story .. i just picked up a danner model 5 .. it says 500gph but then in the manual it says 450 gph .. i guess this should be more than enough .. im using the heater core that terabyte uses .. and im waiting for my spir@l .. should have it by next year hehe ..
did u have to seal it like most people have ?

i was one of the first to get a mag5 pump so i didnt realized i needed to seal it, so i've had many problems with it.

my last effort to seal it up used up 1/2 of a brand new tube(s) of epoxy to try and fix the leak problem, but even after that it still leaks a bit which is why i'm going to throw it off a cliff once i get my new rig all setup
