Default Water temp---Too High?

I ran my system for the first time last nite (after I blew up the first MB ), it seems that the peltier was doing its job pretty well, max temp using Prime95 test was 20 C, but the water temp was at 44C, damm that is hot I thought. It is a 2 gallon plastic storage container with a 500 gph mag drive pump, with a DD maze2-1, 156 watt peltier and a BlackIce Radiator, all using 3/8 fittings/hoses, 2oz of waterwetter/gal. I am currently using a YS Tech 120MM fan @ 145 or so CFM on the rad. Ambient temp in my room ranges from 69-74 F. Does this temp of the water seem high/low or just about right?

Thanks!

Jim

Does the air coming off the rad feel really hot too?

I can't speak from experience, but logically I'd expect the water temps to be high. Between the cpu and the pelt, there's a lot of heat that's got to be moved. As long as your cpu stays cool I wouldn't worry about it.

It feels very warm, I don't think my room will need a heater this winter!
