Default A New DigitalDoc 5?

It seems as if someone is selling digital doc 5's with extra sensors for monitoring water temp. It's too bad the fittings are aluminum instead of copper or brass, though...

And for the life of me, I can't find the link again.

Yeah I saw those at a site with the added water cooling fittings. Also surprised at the price they wanted for them.

There is a new DD 5+ coming soon anyway. It does away with the orange screen and the 40mm fan. New one will have blue background and USB 2 X2 and one firewire ports in the currant location of the fan.

A improvement looks like to me.

Well, I don't use either USB or Firewire, but it would have been nice if they had improved their display about 10,000 percent. The one they use now sucks.

I've seen one reveiw of it, wish I remembered where. The new screen is a big improvement to me at least, didn't like the orange at all. I don't use firewire myself, but do use USB at times. Has to be better than a 40mm fan that don't move much anyway, more noise than cooling.

I've already removed the fan from mine.

One other thing I remembered. The thermisters arrangement has been reversed, now 6 flat ones and only 2 bulb, just the oposite of the currant DD-5.
