Hello,
The shipping costs of US and Canada are the same, right? I mean US to Canada is the same as Canada to Canada and US to US, right? |

Coolpire, I hate to inform you that is not true. When dealing with USPS and Canada Post, you will see similar, yet different prices/rate structures. You will be able to get estimates online from both these services - as a Canadian I have been dissappointed to get better service recieving USPS packages than those recieving my Canada Post packages. The online estimators are not always correct, but I've had to pay more to ship a SCSI cable across Canada, than the prices I've seen on larger/heavier airmail packages from USPS (I'm not just retarded and unaware of currency either.) It really depends but in no way could I see the rates generalized to be similar.

It depends what you need - insurance, tracking, COD, airmail, etc.
Check these sites for rates that are more specific, there are too many variables to say "shipper X is better." If you're shipping out of the states: http://www.usps.gov http://www.fedex.com http://www.ups.com http://www.purolator.com/usa_customer/index.html http://www.dhl-usa.com/index/ Or if you're shipping out of Canada: http://www.canadapost.ca/segment-e.asp http://www.fedex.com/ca_english/ http://www.ups.ca http://www.purolator.ca http://www.dhl.ca Hopefully those are some good options to check out. They should all have some sort of rates on their sites - the only one that's a little iffy looking to me (might not be a very good site) is dhl.ca - but I haven't looked that deep into it.

USPS is kinda slow for my taste. I prefer UPS/FedEx because they guaruntee the day they show on there groundmaps. For example I once payed 11.95 for ground on about 40lbs of goods(case and accessories). Whilst another kid in my dorm ordered a new graphics card from the same place on the same day and had it sent to him Next Day Air for 35$. We both got are boxes the next day. Moral of the story check your groundmaps before you choose the shipping method, second moral of the story if someone is willing to pay 3X for shipping they'll also be gullible enough to pay you to install there vid card.

Depends on the shipping company, you will have to pay local taxes on anything shipped UPS ground from USA to Canada, but UPS informed me that air shipping avoids those charges... Make sure you find out from your shipper first.
[EDIT: Typo - and = on]
