Pump Placement?

Sorry for a noobie question but does the placement of the pump matter? I would like to put in above my cd drives if all possible?

Should be fine, really makes no difference!

Though it is easier to prime at the bottom once things are running no difference.

well It has to be at the top, but aslong as it have no difference it shall be okay. It just makes the placement of EVERYTHING much easier. Thanks guys
