max P4 3.0C voltage??
just started testing my new p4p800 and 3.0C
my mem is still crap pc2700, so the divider won't get me any real performance. anyhow got it running stable without 5mins of tweaking at 260fsb cpu => 3.9GHz and 1.7V mbm is reporting 27°C load temp (that can't be right, right?). how much more can it take provided i keep it cool?

what is the sl code on that 3.0C
have you tried lowering your core volts while staying at 3.9 or did you work up to the 1.7 ? i wouldnt go any higher than 1.7 the cpu database on overclockers.com shows your OC is above average for 3.0c cpu's the best is at 4.3 using a prommy for cooling. all of the 3.0C sl codes on oc.com are sl6wk.

i'll chk the codes at home,
one thing i can say, i must have hit the sweet spot almost blindly. at 260fsb i can get 1.7 maybe even less. for 262 not even 1.8 does the trick. i am a total intel noob, is there some sort of limit on the 865PE when trying to go over 260? anyway, this massiv oc is good news and bad news, now i will have to buy the most expensive pc4000 to match the cpu

i only have a p4pe so my fsb is only 170 but it could be a couple of things.
are you using your memory my spd or have you enterd them manualy ? some times by spd gives the wrong settings. have you tried lowering your memory divider to see if you can push the cpu higher ? most test's i have read showed lower memory speeds running it faster timings gave better results on the 865 and 875 chipssets unlike the older ones like i have. apart from that it could be you have just reached the limit. dont go any higher than 1.7v for long period of time. 3.9 is still nice.
