where the hell did they get the notion that turbulence has got anything to do with Superior cooling? That is what I want to know!

I think my favorite quote from their site was this one. "Bullet proof glass top (polycarbonate) ensure a chip/crack free top." HAHAHAAA. don't get me wrong, i'm using lexan for my block, but that's just funny. at least they have the sense to use poly barbs with it. thanks guys, that was good for a laugh. :-D

Crack free? Tell that the pH who just cracked a poly top. Also about the poly barbs:

1. Aluminum 1/2” barbs anodized to several colors( blue, red, purple, green.) release date = on or before 1/20/04

2. Aluminum center barb anodized to colors listed above with custom nozzling device (improved cooling).release date = on or before 1/25/04

LOL. Other than that it would be interesting for one to be sent to pH for review. But from the looks of the lack of knowledge from their homepage they are just a couple guys with a small budged and will probably go no where. That top has some significant design flaws aswell. I am sure they will be hearing about it if they sell any.

Good luck to them though. Got to start somehwere.

being a small under-funded one/two man band has it's advantages....(OK maybe with exlusion of the "under-funding part"), but yes.... copy-catting the hard work of others, then adding some fancy frills to it and call it their own....(not to mention those claims) .....that will never ever be cool, If they\he\she had the guts to come up with something innovative, they would have had a lot more respect from a lot of old-timers...

I have to be honest and say it kinda pisses me off to see these copy-catters getting away with the hard work of others... Sad thing is, they will probably make a proper chunk of money, far exceeding the amount of effort they put into the hard part of the exercise.

I completely agree. I didn't realize how close to the RBX this thing is untill I just looked at the installation page on their site and then reading they are working on a nozzel.

You know it's not the technology used that bothers me it is how it is duplicated and then claimed their own. I think this is the lessor of 2 evil's though. Danger Den and the RBX maker can get a little taste of their own copying BS. Still doesn't make it right though.

It pisses me off aswell, but what can you do? Just another reason I stepped down from making and sharing block ideas. Not to mention just no time to do it anymore.

I think it is a good looking block and, according to the review, it performs within 2C of the whitewater.

It would be a great block if it wasnt so expensive.

$46.99 is expensive? Cheaper than anything in it's league if that review was reliable. Also the block isn't really finished. They said they were working on a nozzel. Why would anyone in their right mind buy it before the nozzel was on it? Need a new and "reliable" review of it to make any judgment. It looks like a blatent ripp off of the RBX though so it should perform decent once the nozzel is added anyway.
