Many of you have probably been keeping a close eye on the coverage of the recent earthquake/tsunami/disaster. Some of you may even be thinking "Gee I wish there were something I could do to help". A couple of people have asked me whether Procooling could be involved in a raffle to raise money for disaster funds similar to the help HardOCP provided Brian last year. The short answer to that is "maybe if there's interest" but regardless please consider making a donation to one of the following organizations working in the area.
The Salvation Army Habitat For Humanity Disaster Response Doctors Without Borders United International Children's Fund British Red Cross Dutch Red Cross American Red Cross Oxfoam Thai Red Cross |

For what it's worth, I'm donating directly to a charity. I think everyone should be helping out in a time like this. Last I heard it was like 115,000 people dead or going to die from this!

Read in the paper that the local private school (high school) was having its students doing a letter writing campaigne to get the government to forgive the debt to the stricken nations.
So the kids with the money to spare (from daddy's fat account) donate time? WTF? Am I the only one that see's that as wrong? |
