Default New GPU blocks any time soon?

The MCW50 and Maze 4 GPU blocks have been around for quite a while now, and the only other option is a Silverprop Fusion, and they're a bit pricey. Has anyone heard of any new GPU blocks coming out anytime in the not-to-distant future? It seems like we've been stuck with the same old stuff for a long time. Not to mention I'd like to get this aluminum (even if it is annodized) out of my system.

There needs to be a reason for anyone to make a newer one.

Faster hotter GPUs, isnt enough of a reason.

GPUs are just as important to CPUs to gamers.

Maybe enthusiast gamers. A small fraction of gamers actually water cool anything (hell a small fraction of water coolers water cool the GPU). Not enough people to warrant spending thousands of dollars on prototypes and mass production of a block that will have to change on the next vid card that comes out 6 months from now. By the time a prototype is ready and tested the next vid card is out. If there was anything resembling a market for it then maybe they would be more inclined to make such and speed up the turn around.

Be happy there is any options at all.

Why do most people water cool their computers?

The main reasons I can see are: to be able to over-clock your pc to faster speeds... but this really isn't necessary for most people, or for the geek factor, or to make your pc silent.

Jaydee, why do you water cool?

Actually I don't. All my PC's are now air cooled. I have no reason at all to water cool, that's why I stopped. I keep designing and building blocks just for a personal challenge and to keep up with the tech in case the time comes water cooling is standard and I have to water cool.

You could go DIY and make your own block, all you need is a dremmel or just design a block for your needs, and get it cnc'd. That what I did for cpu block, pic is in my sig.
