Unfortunate that Antec's new fanless "Phantom" ( http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=24350 ) was not included in that roundup - I'd be interested to see how a 'big name brand' silent PSU stacks up.

I'll receive a Phantom the next week normally and perhaps another exclusive fanless power supply ^^
Stephane from materiel.be released an article about Phantom today, here's the link : http://www.materiel.be/alims/phantom350/page1.php

The choice of food fanless is still very restricted compared to the enormous diversity of the broken down food.
Ahh, the joys of machine translations.

One of the hopefully benefitial aspects of the fanless PSU's is that they are pushing the volume of power efficent VR parts. The Antec Phantom is running at 80% or better most of the time. This should translate into better overall power supplies with or without fans over the next year or so.
