Default Danger Den 12V-D4 or Eheim 1048/1250?

Hello,

I need your help to decide which pump to buy for my first WC-kit. The loop will probably look something like this: pump -> cpu (amd64 3500) -> gpu (6800le) -> DD Heater Core -> (water reservoir) -> pump.

The danger den has better performance from what I've understood but is also louder than the pumps from Eheim. So my question is will the Eheim 1048 suffice for my use?

Depending on performance I might add another radiator in the future so I'd like to take this into consideration.

Thanks in advance

I would get DDC and run everything with 3.8 tubing in series. D4 is damn loud, 1250 might be a bit big to fit into your case plus it won't be as good as DDC in a big/restrictive loop.

I have an Ehiem 1250 mounted in my case, I bought some self-adhesive felt pads and stuck several of them on the bottom of the pump. If I run the pump alone, there is no audible noise unless my ear is within 2 feet of the pump (with the case cover off). If I have the case cover on, I am never certain the pump is running unless I stick my hand on the case to feel it vibrate.

If you have an Ehiem 1250 mounted properly, you will never hear it over the case fans, although you do sacrifice some flow from what I understand....
