Whats the expected heat dump froma wmd 30? Would 2-302 fedco cores along with my AXP-M and 9800 Pro, be at or near room temp?

No, not a chance. The best WB right now, the G5 should keep your CPU at about 9C above ambient or so. The best you can hope for with rad cooling is to have your water temp at ambient. Not an easy thing to do.

http://www.iwakipumps.jp/e_products/~pdf/w/md_w2003.pdf 30R at 60hz consumes 80watts and according to that PDF it dumps 45watts into the loop. RX (high flow) and RZ (high head) consume 90watts and dump 45watts. if "Output W" means the heat it dumps into the loop or not, but I think thats what it is ![]() |

NP, I dunno if thats correct though, "Output W" = Heat dumped into the water. I assume it is and the numbers match what Ive heard others say before but IM not sure. Wouldnt mind someone verifying that

I measured the 50Hz Iwaki MD-30RZ to dump an actual 50W of heat into a cooling loop (or pretty close to it).
I would estimate that a 60Hz 30RZ would be dumping closer to 60W of heat. |
