Default Extraordinary water-block at overclockers

Project OverMOD

Bizarre water-block but excellent plumbing at the very least!

i can't imagine how much harm he has done to his flow using that blue corigated hose on the cpu block
that kind of hose is only used in applications where slow flow is good ie irrigation

those blocks are pretty god-awful looking.

i also dont quiet understand this:
Quote:
I used TWO pumps to elevate the water 12' to my office. Once the coolant has reached the system, it splits into two loops, one dedicated for the CPU and one for the GPU, which outlets to everything else. One amazing feature is that MY SYSTEM WILL NOT LEAK. It will only suck air INTO the loop. This is because gravity pulls the water back downstairs at a greater rate than the head pressure.
so, if i punch a hole in your hose, or a barb comes loose, water wont come out because of gravity?

Like everyone else said, nice workmanship, but "my LOAD temps never get past 50ÂșC" is hardly grounds for celebration.

I felt like I should write something up so that no one would try to mimic his system because, "wow, it has cool plumbing".

Then I remembered that its like pulling teeth when you submit anything to the frontpage lately, and didn't bother. There are more than a few timely articles lately which have been submitted by people to have received no response, and are now outdated. Don't know if Ed or Joe ever received the emails.
