I am looking for a cheap temp sensor that I can submerge into the resevior of my water cooling setup so I can see the water temps. Please don't point me to a digital doctor brand as have one but I need all of my (5) 5 1/4 bays for cdroms/harddrives at this moment. I have a sensor on the mobo unused but I rather not go that route as I want to monitor the water temps when computer is on or off. I am looking for something free standing or something I can mount in the front of my inwin q500 case. Anyone got one for sell or any hints?

I have been pondering this myself.
What I came up with was take some of the arctic Silver Epoxy, and "dip" a temp sensor in it to create a thermally conductive yet water tight seal around the sensor. then have that dipped into the coolant. for DH3 I am just tape'n some of the sensors on the bottles so I can get an approx temp that way. ------------------ C-ya Joe - Owner/Editor www.ProCooling.com Where the Completely Addicted Come to Cool Off Somebody set up us the bomb. |

I use the Radio Shack model number 63-1009A thermometers. They are about 12 bucks. They have a sealed sensor on a lead thats about 9 feet long. It also has an internal sensor that will read the room temp. Its pretty accurate as well, when I compare the temps with my Belkin Digital Thermometer they are within .2 degrees always.

I came up with an inline wet temp in both 3/8 and 1/2 setups. Unit connects to your mobo temp header.
