a) Size of reservoir doesn't affect performance. Choose one that fits in your case and you like the look of (if you swing that way).
b) For quiet setups I like: Eheim 1048, MCP350/DDC, and an undervolted Cooltechnica 50Z (my personal choice in my system).

If you have a 5.25" bay open your pump and res combo is this http://www.swiftnets.com/products/MCRES-1000.asp.

you guys think that the swiftech pump will be good enough? I was using a 60gph pump before, generic, with a 1 foot head and it could barely handle the job. Also what type of anitcorrosion stuff do you guys recommend?
P.S. Just got a bit low on funds do you think a single 120mm black ice radiator would do? or just eat mac and cheese for a while and get the dual? lol |

Should be good. That pump has a very high pressure rating for it's size. It has 13ft head cut off.

You can still be quiet. A 120mm nexus fan (even PWMed a bit) pulls plenty of air through a montego core. As a bonus, it'll be easier to fit in the lower front of your tower case (if that's what you've got). Of course, if you were going to buy the BIP II and wanted quiet, I'd suggest getting the thermochill PA160... |

Ok so I think i will be getting the resovair/pump set from swifttech. Now I am still debating between BIP 120 or BIP 120.2 ? Would the 120.2 be overkill? All i am cooling is an amd 2400+ and a geforce fx series card. Also the swiftech pump seems really expensive what about the Hydor L20 would that work for me or is it a major downgrade from the swifttech?
