The way I see the WB comparison graph and understand how the temp and block work. Then I should see a dramatic temp loss in my swifty 6002 compared to my maze 4 correct. if I currently idle at ~34C what can I expect after the swifty install?

Depends on your flow rate but your looking at a couple C lower. Idle temps may not be all that different but load temps (much more important than idle temps) should be better.

Rough guess would be about 2C drop. Without knowing the pressure losses and flow rate through the system it is hard to give a solid answer.

I would say closer to 3C, but yeah, between 2 and 3C. That would be my estimate.

Okay much to my own dismay over this, After 10 yes 10 remounts of the 6002a on my NF7s I'm getting horrible temps. on my old maze4 I could get temps around 32-35 idle depending on room temp. Currently with the last mounting I'm idling near 50C!!!!!!! with a room temp of arounf 68 F and a case temp of 23-24C. IU cannot for the life of me figure out whats going on. I would think this block would lower temps not raise them so much I'm paranoid to run my box. Can somone offer some type of guidance plase.

The problem may be elsewhere in your loop. Did you change anything else when you upgraded the block? Check your tubing for kinks and other flow restrictions, make sure both pumps are operating properly, and give the whole system a general going-over. Are you sure your 6002 is mounted properly and not resting against the socket or some other obstruction? How does the thermal paste look when you remove it? What happens to the temps if you re-install the Maze 4? Can you post close-up pictures of the system?

Make sure you have the holddown for the Swiftech block so that the springs are positioned correctly (they are different to get proper load on CPU) and make sure that the clip is engaging all 6 lugs fully.
