Hello there. I am building a new PC and would like to check out WC. I don't have tons of cash for Kits. So I'm going to try and put a Good kit together myself for as cheap as I can (like most people). All I am concerned about cooling is the CPU for now. Well I have a Waterblock, Pump, and Radiator picked out. That is all I need besides tubing, connectors and clamps right? Or do I have to have a Res?
Here's what I'm looking at getting. Are those Good choices? I know there are better things out, but for the Price are they good enough? I'll be cooling a 939 Opteron Pondmaster Mag Drive 3 Pump $39.99 WhiteWater Waterblock $34 BlackIcePro or ProII $29/$36 Together w/o S&H that's about $110. I think the Most I could go would be $150. Would that be good? I really would like to go WC, but don't have much money right now. Any Opinions? Thank you |

Spend a bit more case and grab a Apogee or Storm waterblock. (apogee is cheaper)

Cool I'll check out some reviews on them and see what I can do. But like I said for the Price is that bad?
But the other 2 things looked good? I was thinking of getting the Black Ice Pro II with 2x120mm Fans If I got that apogee and a blackice pro II w/2x120mm Would that supply good cooling? Along with the Pump of course. Thank you Last edited by Crappyone; 11-24-2005 at 10:56 PM. |
