I'm not sure if I've posted it somewhere already... USPlastics (usplastics.com) recently added phenolic sheets to their inventory.
I'm still searching for the manufacturer, for more specs. So far, I've found another reseller (k-mac-plastics.net) and the TM for the phenolic is "Acculamâ„¢". I'll post more info as digging continues. Otherwise, the stock is available in 4 grades: XX - paper base laminate CE - laminate with canvas base fabric LE - fine weave cotton fabric base G-10 - continuous filament woven glass fabric grade More grades, sources from k-mac. |

Is paper based laminate good for insulation? They have garolite XX over at mcmaster in 1/8"x6"X6" for around $4. Would that work?
edit: they also have Garolite Grade G-10 Garolite Grade G-11 Garolite Grade G-30 Garolite Grade G-7 Garolite Grade G-9 Garolite/PTFE Garolite LE Graphite-Impregnated Garolite Which is the best for insulation? |

As expected, the manufacturer is at www.acculam.com (Accurate Plastics).
Some more distributors of the above: k-mac-plastics.net portplastics.com acetal-rod-sheet.com (dead?) phenolic-sheets-rods-tubes.com sdplastics.com calsakplastics.com professionalplastics.com modernplastics.com plasticdistribution.net (nikhsub1; you might want to check these out for Delrin (aka Acetal) tubes) |

For reference, the G-10 stuff, aka FR4, is sometimes used for PCB (printed circuit boards). I'm going to concentrate my Googling on "thermoset laminate"; hopefully ruling out a single manufacturer. |

Thanks for the tip; Have you been through their cut-off bin?
They also have a nice clearance section. |
