Is phase change cooling as quiet as WCing? Would it be similar to AC unit or a fridge
being on?

For $300 it would be the best way to get the best OC but I dont use alot of cpu dependent software anymore. With Wcing you can cool the GPU.

At $250, it would really take a big chunk out of the Wcing market though.

Not as quiet as watercooling can be (even a system that can overclock well with good temperatures).

Probably.

It might take a big chunk but I doubt it. I think many of the watercoolers (now) are doing it "just because" or for the challenge. I don't see the overclocking fever that was around 2-4 years ago.
