my network

When I was setting up my network I did not know exactly what i was doing. I renamed my router and was trying to setup wireless on my laptop and used xp's create network wizard and named it the same thing. I finally figured it out and got everything working right but now when i boot up either my laptop or desktop which is connected directly it says there is another network with the same name. It still works but is kind of annoying. Is there anyway i can delete that network.
