Default Working Waterblock Testing Beds

There's a new waterblock that's going to be released in the future, and the designer claims it's the best thing since buttered toast. Unfortunately, this is the first block by this particular designer so his word doesn't exaclty carry a lot of weight.

Our designer is looking for someone who could put his waterblock to the test. He is looing for someone with a good reputiation for writing unbiased reviews, and who has the equipment and experience to calculate the C/W to Hydraulic Pumping Power curve of his block. He would also like the tester to be able to test several other modern & popular blocks on the same set-up so as to provide a direct comparison.

This block, however, is still in the prototype phase. The tester should have a firm understanding of waaterblock design so s/he can suggest possible design revisions or improvements. Most importantly, though, the tester will need to provide confidentiality, as in s/he will not release any information on the block until the designer gives his permission. Now this of course doesn't mean the designer will censor the review, it just means no information about the block can be released before the designer is ready to release the block on the market.

For anyone who's interested, please post links to any previous reviews that you might have done. Any information about your testbed and your testing methods would also be appreciated.

talk to roscal or robotech. Both are members of this forum, have great testbeds and experience using them.

Roscal does reviews for cooling-masters.com david@cooling-masters.com

robotech AKA Lee did waterblock testing for now defunct but still open to access systemcooling.com
