Well, after searching for days about aluminum radiators I stumbled across "stacked plate" coolers. I don't like the regular oil coolers that are a single winding pipe with fins attached so I'm down to this. I want a heatercore made out of aluminum but they don't exist apprently. So my question is...
Will a stacked plate 4x4 (or the 4x11) with unablock cool my 1.4 TBird OC'd? If so where should I look to get them real cheap? I don't want to turn to theft but I may! ![]()

there's tons of aluminum heatercores. most OEM cores are made of ALU. Look for OEM parts.

redleader - I went to a bunch of auto stores yesterday and all of them weren't sure where to get an aluminum heatercore but they showed me tons of copper ones. Thats why I said....
"they don't exist apprently" Actually the vast majority are aluminum fin and copper core. I need an aluminum CORE. I dont care about the fins. mkosem - Thats what I thought. So I went back today inquiring about coolers and stack plates or aluminum heatercores. I got a different guy who knew exactly what I wanted. He said most late-model chevy's have aluminum heatercores and VOILA! I now have my shiznit. bigben - http://www.bulkparts.com/storefront.ASP?pageno=1182 and http://www.bulkparts.com/storefront.ASP?pageno=1106

You may opt for a custom aluminum radiator to get the specific functions that you need.
